RN Cohort 2026 Psychometric Validation of the PHQ-9 in Ostomy Patients and Their Informal Caregivers: Evidence From A European Multicenter Study. Nursing open The PHQ-9 was supported as a brief depression screen in ostomy patients and their informal caregivers, and scores can be compared between the two groups. RN Qualitative 2026 Community Perspectives on Japanese Encephalitis Risk and Prevention in an Endemic Region of Australia. The Australian journal of rural health In a high-risk Australian city, people and clinicians reported low recent JEV awareness and confusion about vaccine eligibility. RN RCT 2026 Effects of Compassion Meditation on Psychological Status in Patients With Diabetes: A Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial. Western journal of nursing research Patients with diabetes randomly assigned to four short virtual compassion meditation sessions reported lower diabetes distress and higher confidence in managing diabetes than controls. RN Qualitative 2026 Qualitative Analysis of Community Dwelling Older Adults' Advance Care Planning Interviews: Patients Want a Chance. The American journal of hospice & palliative care Older adults facing serious illness often chose full treatment and CPR because they wanted a chance to return to normal, even after acknowledging their illness was not curable and hearing that recovery after CPR was unlikely. RN RCT 2026 Empowering Patients Through Literacy: A Randomized Controlled Trial of an Educational App for Evaluating Complementary Therapies in Diabetes Management. Nursing open People with diabetes who received an app package with nurse contacts, compared with printed and verbal education, improved complementary-therapy risk-benefit understanding and quality of life.
