The Effects of Nursing Care Applied in the Intensive Care Unit on a Case of Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis: A Case Report.

This is a single case report with no comparison group, so it cannot show that nursing care caused survival or reduced complications. The patient received many treatments at once, including medication, intravenous immunoglobulin, parenteral and enteral nutrition, and specialist care, so the contribution of any single component cannot be separated. The care was delivered in an intensive care unit with a dedicated nurse team and specially prepared sterile bundles, so it may not transfer to settings without those resources. The statements about the importance of nursing care and earlier intensive care admission are the authors' interpretation, not measured outcomes. The mortality percentages are SCORTEN estimates, not measured results for this patient.
