This is a commentary describing how the developers of the Kessler Foundation Neglect Assessment Process (KF-NAP) revised their 2015 administration manual into a 2023 edition. It walks through a quality improvement process: collecting informal feedback from certified users over 11 years, illustrating that feedback with quotes from six occupational therapists working in inpatient, outpatient, and acute care settings, and explaining how those suggestions were folded into the revised manual. It reports no patients, no intervention, and no outcomes. The practical guidance it references (scoring alternatives for aphasic patients, how many items may be missed, acute care adaptations without wheelchairs) lives in the revised manual itself, not in this paper. There is no finding here to change your practice on.
