Western journal of nursing research Ontario caregivers had lower total government health care costs than non-caregivers, 11.32% lower after 2 years. Costs rose over time, but less than non-caregivers. This does not show caregiving improves health. RN Systematic Review 2025 Racial and ethnic disparities in post-acute care service utilization after stroke. Geriatric nursing (New York, N.Y.) After stroke, Black patients were more likely than White patients to receive home health or skilled nursing, while Hispanic patients received more home health but less inpatient rehab. Lower socioeconomic status, Medicaid or no insurance, urban residence, and service availability were associated with facility discharge. RN Narrative Review 2025 Breaking Barriers Transforming Primary Care to Serve the Physical Health Needs of Individuals With SMI in the NHS. RN Survey 2025 Explaining the Association Between Number of Teeth and Frailty in Older Chinese Adults: The Chain Mediating Effect of Nutritional Status and Cognitive Function. International journal of nursing practice Having fewer natural teeth was linked to greater frailty, poorer nutrition and lower cognition in older adults. Nurses assessing frailty risk may ask about teeth and screen nutrition and cognition, but this does not prove tooth loss causes frailty. RN Other 2025 Cross-cultural adaptation and psychometric evaluation of the Thai version of the Enhancing Recovery in Coronary Heart Disease Social Support Inventory in individuals with chronic illnesses. International journal of nursing sciences A 6-item Thai social support questionnaire produced one consistent score in adults with chronic illness.
