This is a narrative review and proposed clinical framework for shoulder pain in physiotherapy. It reviews why patho-anatomical labels, physical tests and imaging are uncertain and suggests a bio-psychosocial triage and treatment approach, but it reports no patients, methods, outcomes or tested intervention effects, so there is no finding to change practice.
