RN Pilot 2025 Implementation of a Loneliness Screening and Referral Program in Primary Care: A Mixed Methods Pilot Study. Research in gerontological nursing In a 2-week primary care pilot, 50% of 102 older adults screened positive for loneliness. The Australian journal of rural health The new model reached remote patients much more often. Referrals rose nine-fold, 89.4% of patients in the new model avoided travel, and the modelled service cost was lower. This is about access and delivery, not proof testing improves health. RN Cohort 2025 Lifting Federal Visitation Restriction and COVID-19 Infections in Nursing Homes. Journal of the American Medical Directors Association Lifting federal nursing home visitation restrictions did not increase resident COVID-19 infections. Infection rates tracked community spread, not visitation policy. Clinicians can reassure families that allowing visits, with proper infection control, is unlikely to drive outbreaks. PT OT RN Qualitative 2025 Experiences and challenges of family caregivers of people with lower limb amputation: a qualitative study. Revista da Escola de Enfermagem da U S P Family caregivers of people with major lower limb amputation described exhaustion, fear of falls, and poor preparation for stump care and transfers.
